We're Always Chasing, But Never Living

We lead lives where we are always preparing, saving, or waiting for something but never actually living.

Think about this in all the years of living we have accomplished have we actually ever been taught to live life for today, isn't the present the most realest and tangible moments of our lives. So why is it that we squander it away preparing for a future moment that isn’t the present?

We been culturally and socially conditioned to chase, that’s all we ever do and when we do get to where we wanted to be we realize were lost. We been chasing all our lives we don’t even know what to do when we stop chasing. How many of you reading this find when you are not in school, or working, or doing something someone told you to do and are given a day off you have no idea what to do with it. You feel lost, confused, or bored, you find yourself paying bills, watching T.V, playing games, drinking just something to distract you and kill time till your back in the chase. We waste a precious moment in time that we’re given the only real moment that matters. It’s a sick culture we have cultivated and it’s very detrimental to all of our health and peace of mind. I just wish I knew a way to solve this predicament were born into and find ourselves stuck in.
