Freedom Over Security

We must learn to inspire the generation after us to really follow their hearts, and help raise them in a culture that isn't about how much we make, but more about how much we do for others. As the latter will help progress our society way more than competitively trying to step over one another and trying to one up our neighbor. It seem we are trapped in a society that is designed while we are young and can really do a lot to progress mankind to be stuck culturally on the lower half of Maslow's hierarchy of needs.




We are designed to finding ourselves teetering between obtaining Physiological and safety needs. This is seen in our youth and young adults who are struggling trying to discover their place in our society today, all the while balancing having a home, food, job, friends and someone to fuck, and it is only after we have grown old ready to retire plagued by illness and age are we free to self-actualize. We are then found to be irrelevant aspects of society "A crazy old man/woman" to be thrown in an old age home to await death heavily sedated.  We are never actually taken seriously to make the changes we come to realize upon self-actualizing and learning how essential it is to end this consumerist cycle, instead were only needed to be smart and capable enough to keep capitalism alive and well. We need to restructure our society so that it allows more time, resource and value of letting people reach self-actualization stage as this will prove to be more beneficial to progress our race in all fields of work and innovation.


We need to change this! Our generation needs to put an end to this vicious cycle we have be born into and expected to continue. It must end with us for the sake of the generations to come, they must not suffer like we have.
