Song Of The Day 02

This song I personally believe to be the best song released by these amazing collaborators Nas and Damian Marley. The topics touched upon by the two artist was a real breath of fresh air as many of the ideas touched on really gave me hope. I was young and in grade 10 a time I was really just beginning to understand the world as it truly was and had started to feel really alienated amongst my peers, and of the superficial understanding I had of the world through the programed bubble of the mainstream around me. Then I stumbled came across this gem, a true musical work of art. Topics of the world being corrupt, man flawed and fueled by selfish desires, the systematic profiteering by exploiting nature and human lives for power. Topic of ancient knowledge and of the war waged to gain ownership of our souls all these thing that I had started to believe made me crazy and odd for thinking about. I was spending most my time questioning and researching answers, when others seemed to not care or have the slightest clue. Till stumbled across this song and I realized the existence of others that thought about these same issues, and that there is a whole movement behind them. I came to realize I was not the crazy or weird one it was our society that was truly insane and demented.
